Verdonia Review

By browsing through my Facebook, I was impressed by a game called Verdonia that is made by Playdom, which has already published a couple of facebook games like Social City, sororitylife, TIKI Resort, and Mobsters. First impressions on Verdonia is “To imitate Evony without success and lose what used to be Playdom’s own ability”. I’d rather to give this free browser game a 1 Rating based on 10 stars.

As a matter of fact, Verdonia Code is taken from Three Kingdoms Online, Evony, or to be exact, PlayDom changed some graphics of Evony for Verdonia, crappy and disgusting. Verdonia has done a little contributions to Facebook platform, as monotonous as boring in class.

Perhaps the best change Playdom has made to the game is the adoption of Lord of Ultima’s Castle system, in the form of the Chancery. this game got to many bugs in it and needs to be fixed, i keep losing my allies ,then there back then there gone this game reminds me of game made by ZYNGA

What is even worse is that I pondered over a problem in an effort to explore why Playdom did such game for Facebook, which fundamentally steered away from social games, yet moving on to Chinese browser web game’s direction – Crazy Money Grappling, extremely unbalanced gaming mechanism, Meaningless Attacking NPC city, and countless bugs.

On the other hand,  the city building and upgrading, in-game fighting are heavily effected by buffed items which can be purchased via real dollar or won from referring to your friends.

To much bugs, it shows i got 1.3 million food while i can’t have more then 900 k , and I got 12000 peasants and more troops but when i send even 25 % of them a error message pops up : oops not enough troops .. And every time when my army gets back it’s like they take a break some where because they never return in time, and much more bugs …..

Ultimately, Caesary is a facebook strategy online game, or browser click away game that is doomed to fail. Because it still follow the fixed model build a town, Accumulate wealth in the form of resources and gold, Develop technologies, and Build up army. If you were ever to try to find a browser mmo game to play, then avoid this game.
